How to apply coating on UV flatbed printers?

In the use of UV printers, especially in printing materials with poor adhesion such as glass and ceramic tiles, coatings are essential. Coating plays an auxiliary role in UV flatbed printer printing, which can effectively attach UV ink to the material surface during the printing process, and even slightly damage the material surface (the degree of damage is particularly small, which cannot be seen with the naked eye), allowing UV ink to penetrate into the material well, achieving a long-term bright, realistic, non fading, waterproof and scratch resistant effect.

Some materials occasionally experience poor adhesion after coating, which is generally due to the following reasons:

1. The coating is artificially diluted, reducing the coating concentration and unable to achieve its original effect.

2. The coating is stored for a long time, and dust, water, oil, and other contaminants can enter, damaging the internal composition and structure of the coating.

3. The properties of the coating do not match the printed material, for example, when using a glass coating on leather, the choice of coating should be based on the different printing materials, such as water solubility or oil resistance.

The main solutions when encountering the above situation are as follows:

1. The storage of the coating should be placed in a cool and ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight. After opening, use it as soon as possible. If it is not used up at once, close the opening in a timely manner.

2. In practical operation, operators should keep their hands clean, and the working workshop environment should also be kept clean and bright.
