The most critical part of Ricoh UV flatbed printers is the nozzle, which accounts for 50% of the machine cost. Therefore, daily maintenance of the nozzle is crucial. What are the maintenance techniques for Ricoh nozzles?
1、 The first thing to do is to use the automatic software of the inkjet printer for cleaning.
2、 If you want to stop during the printing process, do not turn off the power directly. Instead, turn off the printing program first and wait for the nozzle cap to cover before turning off the power. This is because it is not easy to let the ink moisture exposed to the air evaporate and dry up, blocking the nozzle.
3、 If the nozzle detects nozzle blockage at the beginning of printing, ink extraction should be used to extract the ink left on the ink head from the ink injection point of the ink cartridge. It is necessary to avoid the extracted ink flowing back into the ink head, which can cause ink mixing and impurities in the extracted waste ink to prevent nozzle blockage again.
4、 If the previous results are not satisfactory, then use the last method, and each universal printer will be equipped with a syringe and a cleaning agent. When the nozzle is clogged, you can use cleaning agents to replace the clogged color and print a vector map of that color until the nozzle is turned on.
